Lions on the loose in South Yorkshire until Sunday 6 September!

To celebrate 150 years of Sheffield Children’s, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity has set 300 life-sized lion,
lioness and cub sculptures loose across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.

Transforming the Emergency Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital

At Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, we make care even kinder and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter, and comfort to places where they’re needed the most. From the every day, to the extraordinary.

Following in the paw prints of the Bears of Sheffield (2021) and the Herd of Sheffield (2016), Pride of Yorkshire will have a mighty impact at Sheffield Children’s. This roar-some campaign will directly contribute to the transformation of the Emergency Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Every penny raised during Pride of Yorkshire will help to create a calm, child-friendly space designed for children and young people in need of urgent care.

Workshops are not ticketed unless stated, and will run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fundraising for Pride of Yorkshire

There are plenty of ways you can support Pride of Yorkshire aside from visiting sculptures on the trail, whether that’s a bespoke event or activity, getting your community, school or business to fundraise, or taking part in one of our fundraising activities.

Attend an Auction

Want to get your paws on a Pride of Yorkshire sculpture for your home, school, business or community venue/centre?

There’ll be TWO chances to bid on your favourites at auction this Autumn:

Sunday 18 October – Crucible Theatre, Sheffield

Sunday 11 October – Hilton Garden Inn, Doncaster
